Intermediate B Team Splits Pair On Road Trip

The Buffalo Sabres Sled Hockey Intermediate B team traveled to Canada on Feb. 19 for two games, coming away with a decisive 5-2 win against Peterborough and a hard-fought 3-2 loss to North Cumberland.

In the first game Saturday, three Sabres players scored: Daniel Murray had a hat trick, while Kyle Dominiak and John Uplinger both scored goals to power the team to victory. The overall team effort was strong at both ends of the ice against Peterborough.

On Sunday morning, the team fell behind early to a strong North Cumberland team, and fought back but fell short in a 3-2 tally. Daniel Murray scored twice in the loss. The two teams are meeting again this Saturday, Feb. 26.
